Riverbank Residentials will Be Arranged Like RPTRA

Riverbank residential East Jakarta will be arranged with concept of Child-Friendly Public Space (RPTRA).

Currently, that has been ongoing and arranged is in Kampung Pulo, then following with Bidara Cina and Kebon Pala water ways

Head of East Jakarta Housing and Government's Building Sub-Department, Ujang Zainuddin said, environmental facilities and infrastructure will be built there, equipped with infiltration source and reservoir retention plus park, public interaction place and sport facilities.

"There will be reservoir retention that functions to reserve and produce clean water, planted with hydroponic trees thus it could be worthy to use for house necessities," he disclosed, Monday (8/24).

City Prepares RPTRA for Creative Children

He also intends to optimize infiltration well as deep as 1.5 m until 3 m to reserve rain water. "It functions to reserve water by elevating the infiltration constant, and it would be able to absorb flood up to 30 meter," he explained.

He added, the concept was the pioneer program of house arrangement that could be applied in horizontal, vertical, maisonette residential based on needs and social anthropology.

"It coincides with RPTRA construction. Currently, that has been ongoing and arranged is in Kampung Pulo, then following with Bidara Cina and Kebon Pala water ways," he uttered.
